As part of a brief communication, Electronic Arts has published the guidelines for accessing the market area of the new Web App and Companion App for the Ultimate Team mode of the new football simulator EA FC 27.
For those who played Ultimate Team mode in EA FC 26 without violating the rules, access to the EA FC 27 market area will be available immediately when the new Web App and Companion App are made available. Otherwise, some guidelines imposed by the Canadian software company will have to be followed, which we have listed below.
To ensure a fair and safe experience for all Football Ultimate Team players, you must follow the EA FC rules to unlock the market. Access to the market is important for those who play UT, and strict rules must be followed to unlock this area.
You are eligible to access the Web App and Companion App market with accounts that previously gained access to FC 26 before August 1, 2026, FC 25 before August 1, 2025, and FC 24 before August 1, 2024.
If you do not automatically have access to the market in the Web App or Companion App, you must earn it within the game or gradually. If this is your first time accessing UT or you do not meet the necessary requirements, you must complete specific groups of objectives to gain access to the market and Champions Weekend League.
You can access the transfer market by completing the following basic objective groups: FUT Academy, First Team Dream, and Level Up. It may take some time to unlock market access after completing all the objectives.
When is the market unlocked after completing the objectives? – Once you have completed the objective groups, you will receive full access to the market within 48 hours for PC users, or within 24 hours on other platforms. During this period, and until it expires, you will be able to list items for sale on the market, but you will not be able to search, place bids, or purchase items using the Buy Now option.
When will Champions access be unlocked after completing the objectives? – Once you have met the other requirements to participate in Champions, including progress in Division Rivals and Champions Qualification Points, access will be unlocked within 48 hours for PC users, or within 24 hours on other platforms.
Why do I have to complete objectives to access the market? – Restricting market access for new accounts helps protect the in-game economy from potential illicit activities, while also ensuring that genuine new users are introduced to Ultimate Team.
How long does it take to gain access?
The time required to unlock the market is based on a number of different factors.
- Your account history and whether your account is in good standing for having followed the EAS FC rules.
- How many different Ultimate Team accounts you use on the same device.
- How many active days you have played Ultimate Team.
- A day counts as active when you have played three full matches in Ultimate Team and have logged into the Web App or Companion App within 24 hours, according to UTC time, for each Ultimate Team account.
- Playing more than three matches per day will not increase your chances of unlocking the market.
Below are some examples of how many active days of play are required to access the market.
- For an Ultimate Team account in good standing that is the only account that has been created or used to log into a device, two active days are normally enough to gain access.
- For an Ultimate Team account in good standing that is not the only account that has been created or used to log into a device, at least four active days are required to gain access. Depending on the number of Ultimate Team accounts used on a device, it may take longer.
- If you share your device with siblings or friends who play Ultimate Team, it may take longer for each Ultimate Team account to gain access.
How do I know when I have gained access?
Electronic Arts will send a message to your Ultimate Team account within the game to notify you when you have unlocked access. You can also check the Web App and Companion App.
Market blocked on the Web App and Companion App
In-app message that says: Your account cannot access the market on the Web App and Companion App due to a violation of our rules. While you cannot access the Football Ultimate Team market for the current version of FC on the Web App and Companion App, you can still access the market within the game. Check the email address associated with your EA account for more information.
If you receive this message, your account can no longer access the market on the EAS FC Web App and Companion App because you have violated our rules. You should still be able to use the market within the game on PC or console.
When you violate the rules, we will send more information to the email address associated with your EA account. Can’t find the email? Also check your junk or spam folder.
Market completely blocked
In-app message that says: Your account cannot access the market due to a violation of our rules. Check the email address associated with your EA account for more information.
This message means that your account cannot access the market either within the game or through the Web App and Companion App due to a violation of our rules.
Can I regain access to the market?
If your account is blocked or suspended, Electronic Arts will send you an email explaining why. The Canadian software company takes these measures to ensure that the community remains positive, enjoyable, fair, and safe for everyone.
- Follow the suggestions to find out what to do if you believe you were suspended by mistake.
- Protect your account if you believe it has been compromised.
What happens if I was prevented from accessing the market in EA SPORTS FC 26?
Market suspensions will not carry over from EA FC 26 to EA FC 27, but you will have to earn market access when you play EAS FC for the first time.

Season 1 of FC 27 Ultimate Team celebrates the biggest signings of the transfer window with dynamic Ones To Watch player items, which can improve throughout the season based on the performances of male and female players at their new Clubs.
Ones To Watch items will be upgraded when the player receives a performance-based special item, such as Team of the Week, Player Of The Month or Star Performer, and if their team wins 3 of their next 6 league matches starting Friday, September 18. All Ones To Watch items start with a minimum rating of 83 OVR.
