Full-backs: A significant amount of feedback concerns full-backs dropping back too early and breaking the defensive line. Despite this, the developers want to give the game time to settle before making changes that could have a significant impact on the current gameplay. They will therefore continue to analyze player movement before making any changes.
Goals from kick-offs: A lot of feedback has been received regarding how frequently players are able to score a goal after taking a kick-off. Over the next few days, the data will be monitored to determine whether this is a situation that could develop into a broader trend.
Passing and interceptions: Some feedback has also highlighted the balance between passing and interceptions. The goal is to reward defenders who are manually controlled and manage to position themselves in passing lanes. That said, players using cards with lower defensive ratings may be too effective at making certain types of interceptions that would normally be expected from top defenders. The developers will continue to monitor this aspect, but they want to make sure that manual defending is rewarded.
Shooting: Some feedback has reported that the effectiveness of low-driven shots, particularly those aimed at the near post, can be greater than other options. Ones To Watch items will be upgraded when the player receives a performance-based special item, such as Team Of The Week, Player Of The Month or Star Performer, and if their team wins 3 of their next 6 league matches starting from Friday, September 18. All Ones To Watch items start with a minimum rating of 83 OVR.
