NBA 2K27 Season 2 started on October 16, at the same time as the new NBA season. There are new rewards to earn, activities to try, and content to explore in the different game modes.

The new GOAT Builds are based on some of the biggest names in NBA history. They come with preset attributes and animations that reflect how these players perform on the court. Klay Thompson, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis, and Dwight Howard are among the available options. You can unlock more builds as you progress through the season.

Sunset Beach is back in The City. The location first appeared in NBA 2K17 and now returns in a remastered version. You can earn XP by playing activities in The City, MyCAREER, and MyTEAM. The goal is to reach Level 40 and collect the seasonal rewards, including Dirk Nowitzki’s GOAT Build.

In MyTEAM, the Premier Exchange lets you trade cards for exclusive upgrades. The rewards start with Diamond Jason Kidd at Level 1 and end with Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns at Level 40. The Pro Pass and Hall of Fame Pass come with additional rewards, including player cards, cosmetic items, and horror-themed content.

There are also extra rewards for Crew Divisions. The reward track offers double Crew XP, and Crew games come with a 25% REP bonus. Some gameplay settings have also been changed to improve competitive games and matches played with your team.

2K Beats has five new mixes, featuring music from Blackpink, BossMan Dlow, and Linkin Park. There are also mixes curated by Tyrese Haliburton, music celebrating the 30th anniversary of Space Jam, and tracks inspired by the basketball scene at Rucker Park.

Patch 2.0 fixes several gameplay issues. The changes cover certain animations, shots that were incorrectly registered as contested, and steals. The update also lets you play a 25-year career in MyCAREER Eras, so you can follow your player’s career over a much longer period.

NBA 2K27 has also been available on the Windows PC Store since October 16. Season 2 is already underway, with new content, objectives, and rewards to work through in the game’s different modes.
