On Friday, October 23, scheduled maintenance will be carried out on the servers hosting Ultimate Team, the popular mode in the EA FC 27 football simulator.
During the maintenance, the servers will be unavailable, meaning that other online modes may also be inaccessible.
The Canadian game developer often announces scheduled maintenance shortly before the operations begin. It is also possible for matchmaking to be disabled unexpectedly. We will keep you informed here with all the necessary updates.
According to the announcement released by the Canadian game developer, maintenance will begin on Friday, October 23, at 06:00 UTC and end at 10:00 UTC. The servers will therefore be offline during this period.
Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before maintenance begins. From that point onward, it will no longer be possible to play matches until maintenance is complete.
Although it rarely happens, maintenance may be extended if unexpected technical issues arise. We will follow the entire maintenance period and provide updates if necessary.

Season 2: FC Heritage celebrates the history of Football Ultimate Team and the community that has helped shape it over the years. The season pays tribute to fan favourites, players who have become regular choices in many squads, and iconic Campaigns that have left their mark on EA SPORTS FC.
Inspired by Hall of FUT, FC Heritage Player Items recognise players who have been part of some of FUT’s most memorable items and moments. They also feature current fan favourites who are building their reputation and could earn a place in the Hall in the future.
You can earn FC Heritage Player Items and other themed rewards by progressing through the Season Pass, taking part in Live Events, and more.
Season 2 of EA SPORTS FC 27 Football Ultimate Team introduces new Standard and Premium Ladders packed with rewards. These include up to 16 FC Heritage Player Items celebrating active players who have helped define FUT culture.
Progress through the Standard Ladder to unlock FC Heritage rewards featuring Botafogo’s Allan, Manchester United’s Fridolina Rolfö, and Charlotte FC’s Allan Saint-Maximin, who awaits you at Level 30.
The Premium Pass offers further rewards, including Abha’s Nabil Fekir and Real Madrid’s Athenea, with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford waiting at Level 30. Other rewards include retro Ultimate Scream shells, themed Evolutions, Packs, and more.
The Daily Knockout Tournament is back for FC Heritage, bringing another familiar FUT challenge to Season 2. Face other players in PvP knockout matches as Ultimate Team brings back another part of its history.
Compete every week throughout the Season to earn additional rewards, including an FC Heritage Player Item, Coins, and untradeable Packs.
Celebrate FUT history through the FC Heritage Circuit, a connected series of five Single Player Live Events. By taking part, you can earn FC Heritage Player Items, Coins, and untradeable Packs. The full Circuit launches at the beginning of Season 2, with each stage unlocking as you progress.
Choose your preferred difficulty in the Kick Off Event, then work your way through three themed Events: Ultimate Scream on Semi-Pro, Hall of FUT: Unleashed on Professional, and Thunderstruck on World Class. Each stage features nostalgic opponents, rewards to collect, and a new challenge to complete.
Your next goal is to qualify for the final Tournament, which consists of three rounds. The difficulty rises from Professional to World Class before culminating in a Legendary final that will put your skills to the test.
Season 2 also brings the first major expansion of FUT Gallery, adding more than 60 new Sets. These include new League and Club Sets for MLS, NWSL, and the Roshn Saudi League. Submit Sets to increase your Gallery Level and unlock new rewards throughout Season 2.
