In a surprise post shared on its X account, Electronic Arts published an image containing clues about a possible new installment of Fight Night, a video game series dedicated to boxing.
The screenshot shows a boxing ring and two towering fighters, all illuminated by a beam of light. The image is accompanied by just a few words: “To everyone who has stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back.”
After a quick search on EA’s official website, we also managed to find a page dedicated to the game in question.
The page includes a short description of Fight Night, but we cannot confirm that the text contains any references to a possible new installment in the series or to the last game released 13 years ago.
For the sake of accuracy, here is the full description published on the website:
Step into the ring wearing the trunks of some of the greatest boxers ever to put on a pair of gloves, including Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, and discover the undisputed champion of boxing games: Fight Night.
Whether you choose to play as one of today’s best fighters or a boxing legend, you’ll compete with the greatest roster of athletes of all time.
