Take-Two has confirmed that NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition is coming to Apple devices through Apple Arcade, with a release date set for November 5, according to the Apple Store listing.
The game will be available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, bringing a new basketball experience to Apple Arcade users.
Players will be able to create their own basketball star, join their NBA dream team, and compete alongside some of the biggest names in the league.
In MyCAREER, they’ll follow their player’s professional journey, develop their skills, and work towards winning an NBA championship.
All 15 WNBA Teams Join the Game
For the first time in NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition, players will be able to choose from all 15 WNBA teams and 180 active WNBA players. The league’s top talent will be available in both Quick Match and Blacktop modes, giving players more options when taking to the court.
Faster Progression In MyCAREER
MyCAREER has been updated to make progressing through an NBA career quicker. This year, your MyPLAYER starts their rookie season with an 80 OVR rating, allowing them to make an immediate contribution on the court.
Instead of playing through an entire season, players can focus on 12 key matchups that highlight its most important moments. Perform well in these games, and you can guide your team into the NBA Playoffs.
New Locations In The Neighborhood
The Neighborhood returns with several new places to explore, including the Center Terminal, Gym, Barbershop, and Tattoo Studio.
- Center Terminal: Visit this location to access new events, quests, and seasonal content.
- Gym: Work on your MyPLAYER’s development by training at the gym and earning temporary boosts.
- Barbershop and Tattoo Studio: Change your MyPLAYER’s appearance with a new haircut or tattoo.
Available Game Modes
MyCAREER: Begin your NBA journey as a rookie and work your way up to becoming a league legend. Create your player by choosing their height, wingspan, weight, playstyle, and other attributes. Select your position and join your favorite NBA team.
The Association: Take control of your favorite NBA franchise as both general manager and head coach. Build your ideal roster through trades, free-agent signings, and prospect scouting while managing the team’s finances.
NBA Eras: Manage some of the league’s most memorable teams and dynasties. You can take charge of the 1990s Chicago Bulls led by Michael Jordan or experience the modern Golden State Warriors and their emphasis on three-point shooting.
Multiplayer Mode: Play with your MyPLAYER and compete against other NBA 2K27 players on Apple Arcade.
Blacktop Mode: Choose any of the 30 NBA teams and challenge a friend to a real-time street basketball game. Matches are available in 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 formats.
Quick Match: Select your favorite NBA team and face off against rival teams in 5v5 games featuring authentic basketball gameplay.
WNBA Blacktop Mode: Pick one of the 15 WNBA teams and play street basketball against a friend in real time, with 1v1, 3v3, and 5v5 options.
WNBA Quick Match: Choose your preferred WNBA team and compete against other teams in 5v5 games with authentic basketball gameplay.
NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition can be played solo or with friends through iCloud on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The game also supports Xbox controllers, PlayStation DualShock and DualSense controllers, and MFi-compatible game controllers for players who prefer using a controller.
