The Title Update 1.1.0 for EA FC 27 has been announced. The fifth patch is scheduled to become available for download on Tuesday, October 27, for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
This update introduces gameplay fixes, specifically addressing several bugs that caused players to become stuck inside the goal or in certain areas of the pitch, particularly during 2v2 and 3v3 matches. It was also announced that significant gameplay changes will be introduced in upcoming patches.
The update also includes several changes and fixes for some of the gameโs most popular modes, including Ultimate Team. Specifically, the refereeโs kit colors have been updated because they were often too similar to those of the teams.
In Career Mode, the contract negotiation process for player signings and renewals has also been adjusted. Player demands are now more reasonable in relation to the bonuses offered and the playerโs importance within the team.
In addition, several fixes have been implemented to improve the gameโs overall stability and prevent unexpected crashes. Below is the full list of fixes included in Title Update 1.1.0 released by the Canadian software house.
Gameplay
The following issues have been fixed:
- Fixed an issue where players could become permanently stuck and unable to progress during the tutorial.
- Fixed an issue in 2v2 matches where players could get stuck inside the goal net after performing slide tackle attempts near the goal line.
- Fixed an issue in 1v1 matches where goalkeepers would hold onto the ball for too long after a player requested a pass.
- Fixed an issue in 3v3 Kickabouts where a long button press pass would occasionally result in players directing the ball into their own goal.
- Fixed an issue where post-play cutscenes would happen too frequently in situations where a standard replay should have been shown instead.
Ultimate Team
The following issues have been fixed:
- Updated Referee kit colours to prevent them from clashing with either teamโs kits, reducing visual confusion during matches.
- Fixed an issue where the match would default to using the opponentโs custom pitch line colour if you did not have a pitch line colour selected.
- Fixed an issue where the match would default to using the opponentโs custom goal net colour instead of your default settings.
The Grounds
The following issues have been fixed:
- Fixed an issue where the Pro Camera would occasionally rotate incorrectly when the ball rolled past the byline.
- Resolved a visual bug where the end-of-match UI could overlap with on-screen text after a Kickabout match.
- Fixed an issue in the post-match flow where a playerโs match rating would not display if it was below 6.0.
- Adjusted the post-match โPlayer has left the activityโ overlay to be less disruptive.
- Resolved various stability issues and crashes that could occur when entering the Store, loading into the world, or during gameplay.
- Prevented an issue where a team could occasionally have two goalkeepers active during Clubs Live Events.
- Fixed a bug where party members could get stuck with an incorrect HUD on their screen if the party leader left the matchmaking queue.
- Resolved an issue where players were unable to re-enter the Objectives tab after initially viewing it from the Live Events lobby.
- Corrected an issue where a playerโs match rating would incorrectly display as 0 if their Archetype was at the maximum level.
- Fixed a bug where the Clubs tournament bracket would incorrectly display a team as the โwinnerโ immediately after the semi-final match.
Career Mode
The following issues have been fixed:
- Added distinct negotiation responses to clarify exactly why a club or player rejected your offer.
- Tuned Wages to account for performance bonuses, preventing players from demanding inflated base wages when bonuses are offered.
- Tuned Contracts so veteran players no longer disproportionately demand crucial squad roles.
The following changes have been made:
- Improved background contrast for green, grey, and red stat values in the Player Profile for better legibility
- PlayStyles are now properly revealed for Youth Academy prospects discovered during Scouting Missions
- Corrected Scout capacity calculations
- The maximum number of simultaneously scouted players is now determined by Experience rather than Judgement
