Over the past few hours, social media has been flooded with videos showing an incredible glitch in EA FC 27 that allows players to score from considerable distances.
According to videos circulating on X, a glitch appears to make it possible to score directly from a free kick, even when the kick is taken by the goalkeeper from inside their own penalty area.
It also appears that the same glitch can be exploited from other areas of the pitch, and unfortunately, the more toxic part of the community is taking advantage of it. Obviously, if you are looking for a guide on how to reproduce the glitch, you will not find one in this article.
So far, the Canadian developer has not issued any statements regarding the presence of this glitch, although we are sure that the community has already submitted countless reports.
The glitch will most likely be fixed in one of the corrective patches already planned for release over the coming weeks.
Update: The developer has confirmed that it is aware of the glitch and will try to fix it with a patch that is expected to be released within the next few days.
