Download or update EA SPORTS FC Mobile today to try the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, which gives players new ways to get the most out of their team and have greater control before and during matches.
The brand-new Gauntlet mode and Game Plans are the main features of the update, along with new playstyles, an updated visual experience, and a series of gameplay improvements that give players more ways to customize and control “The World’s Game” on their mobile device.
The new season also begins alongside the FC Mobile anniversary event, a month-long celebration focused on the community.
This event brings back some of the gameplay features most loved by fans from the past year, including Team of the Year (TOTY) boosts, Team of the Season (TOTS) tag combinations, and the iconic Bernabéu Stadium.
Across ten separate chapters, players will be able to relive familiar FC Mobile events, build their teams, and earn rewards while enjoying this new era of FC Mobile with the Season 27 update.
“With the FC Mobile 27 Season Update, we are giving players more ways to get the most out of the teams they create and greater control over how they approach each match,” said Kevin Liu, General Manager of FC Mobile. “Whether it’s fine-tuning their lineup, adjusting their tactics, or taking on a new challenge, we want every match to give players more opportunities to make meaningful choices and play ‘The World’s Game’ their way.”
The Gauntlet mode is a completely new PvE experience that tests the depth of the team, challenging players to get through a series of matches by making the most of the variety and talent in their roster.
Restrictions related to player appearances encourage team rotation, while objectives and different match modes require players to think strategically about which lineup to use in each challenge.
Game Plans give players greater tactical control before and during matches, with the ability to create up to four lineup combinations and five mentalities – Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking, and Ultra Attacking. Players can switch between Game Plans during supported matches to react and adapt as the action develops.
The FC Mobile 27 Season Update also introduces two new playstyles, expanding the options available to players on the pitch when it comes to passing and set pieces:
- Incisive Passing – More accurate and earlier low through balls.
- Set Pieces – Updated free kicks, with greater curve and accuracy for players with the right traits and playstyle.
An updated visual experience gives the new FC Mobile season a refreshed look, improving the presentation of matches through the in-game HUD, loading screens, player indicators, and other elements throughout the experience.
In addition to the Season 27 update, MLS action continues in EA SPORTS FC Mobile on October 10, when players around the world will be able to watch the Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) match live at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET through the FCM TV portal built into the game.
As part of the partnership between EA SPORTS FC, Major League Soccer, and Apple TV, fans will be able to tune in to the live broadcast within the game and receive in-game currency in return.
