During the Fortnitemares promo, the Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload modes will be populated by popular characters from horror series.
Five Nights at Freddy’s, Hazbin Hotel, Nightmare, Beetlejuice, and Obsession are just some of the series whose characters will arrive on the Fortnite island.
Freddy Krueger will be waiting for players at Freaky Fields or at the new Nightmare Neighborhood POI. Only by defeating him will players be able to obtain the Freddy’s Nightmare claws, which grant the ability to teleport and slash opponents.
The Horde Rush LTM mode will return on October 8, while an updated Nightmare Island is coming to Reload along with the Stranger Things and Squid Grounds maps.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s outfits show battle damage and are available immediately in the Item Shop. Outfits and accessories inspired by Nightmare on Elm Street, Black Clover, Hollow Knight, 99 Nights in the Forest, Hazbin Hotel, The Purge, Obsession, Slender Man, Beetlejuice, Predator: Badlands, and Universal Studios will be released throughout October.
